E-invoice and e-way bill software
The basics

E-invoice & e-way bill, explained.

An e-invoice is a B2B invoice reported to the GST Invoice Registration Portal (IRP), which returns an Invoice Reference Number (IRN) and a digitally signed QR code that must be printed on the invoice. An e-way bill is needed to move goods, generally for consignments above ₹50,000. E-invoice software sends the invoice details to the IRP and creates the e-way bill from the same data.

What it does

Everything you need, nothing you don't.

01

IRN and signed QR code

Send B2B invoices to the IRP through your own access and print the IRN and QR code on the invoice.

02

E-way bill from the invoice

Transporter, vehicle and distance are added once, and the rest is taken from the invoice.

03

Details from your masters

Buyer GSTIN, address and HSN codes come from your customer and item records, so they are not typed for each invoice.

04

Share with the payment link

Send the e-invoice by WhatsApp or email with a UPI payment link or QR.

05

Ready for returns

E-invoice data flows into your GSTR-1 reports, so B2B sales are not entered twice.

06

Access control and audit trail

Role-based access limits who can create or cancel invoices, and every change is logged.

Something else on your mind? Talk to our team.

Who needs to issue e-invoices? +

E-invoicing applies to B2B invoices of businesses whose aggregate turnover crosses the notified limit, currently ₹5 crore in any financial year since 2017-18. Some sectors are exempt, so confirm with your CA.

Do I need my own IRP or e-way bill login? +

Yes. The software works through your business's own access, so the e-invoices and e-way bills are issued in your name.

When is an e-way bill required? +

Generally when goods worth more than ₹50,000 are moved, with some state-specific rules and exemptions. The software helps you create one from the invoice when it is needed.

Can I cancel an e-invoice? +

Under the GST rules an e-invoice can be cancelled on the IRP only within 24 hours of generation, and not partly. After that, issue a credit note instead.
